Sandhill Cranes are everywhere in Florida. I was determined to get at least one good photo session with this bird - we ended up with a very cooperative one at Viera Wetlands.Viera Wetlands

Ahh, cranes are such cool birds! I just love how tall they are - I've got something for big birds haha. What a wonderful pose you captured here, bent or 'crouched' down rather than the more traditional upright pose. Really gives you a sense of how long that body is!
