Very nicely done! The hat is much better, though still not quite there. Great POV! I like the earthy colours. Small point -- it would be a member of a rival House (most probably the Red Hand), not a rival clan.

Hi! Yes, the brim is wider and more curved. There is no hat band. Her hat is jet-black leather (like the rest of her outfit). There are some good references for the hat in both the References Gallery and other Galleries on my DA page as well. One of the best is on the contest banner that SYoshiko did.
