I like this better than most because of the color! Also gives me a childish urge to put those pieces on a pan and tell my mom I made her brownies. XD

A tired old subject it may be, but I've rarely seen cracked mud more beautifully captured. Great work!

Cracked mud? It looks like cracked porcelain that's arranged so it fits together, so beautiful and abstract is your piece. Congrats on the DD^^

What I really like about this is from my 3d background in looking at the naturally forming hard and beveled edges. Something artists have tried to replicate as long as I can remember. The details of straight striated cracking in surfaces as well as dirt and moisture are hypnotizing for a professional. For me its like trying to read how someone made a texture for something at a loss.
The smooth curves are wonderful as well as the crisp details. Its fractal on several levels but natural at the same time. Nature is something we artists are always trying to recreate. If I ever come on this seed value I hope I can remember this piece to give credit.
wonderful piece!

The cool thing about this piece is you don't know what it is at first. I was like..."What? Is that cracked glass or...what?" So you just HAVE to see it to find out, lol. Nice job and congrats on the DD, you deserve it!

The mud was actually a blah gray color but the late evening light causes slide film to take on a blue color.
