Hello, my lovelies! I am not, as the evening news may have said, dead. As it were, this semester is an unbelievable load of work - and next semester isn't looking too much lighter. It's all for the best, though. Good things are happening, and when I graduate in May I'll start looking at the next step in my life.

In the meantime, have a portrait of Erik, the Phantom of the Opera. I went through a HUGE Phantom phase several years ago, and it's sort of kicking back in a bit. More than almost any other fictional character, Erik has been a huge inspiration to me and my work (especially the Leroux and Kay versions), in some ways more obvious than others. So when one of the songs from the play popped up on my iPod, I thought I'd pay some long-overdue tribute by sketching him in Photoshop.

Hopefully there will be a few more lackluster updates within the next week or so! Don't get all excited though, there's plenty of doodles and silly stuff rather than anything serious.
