As I won't have much time before Christmas I made this thing now... I almost lost my nerves on it, especially with those golden threads... they slip and tear... And the hair... I had no idea how to make it until last moment - pure improvisation
But fortunately it holds shape and I am happy with the result. 
If you ever decide to do bobbin lace don't work with golden/silver threads unless you want to explode.

i think i can relate a bit w/ the use of the golden thread (ehehe, i've used it on an embroidery and it was hard to keep them in place

The amount of detail you always manage to put into every piece you make never ceases to amaze me. And I know what you mean about the gold thread. Even trying to embroider with it is a pain because it's always unraveling or snapping! This is beautiful!
