Description Haha! It’s done! Usually I don’t have enough patience to finish this sort of thing, but I figured that I’d better start getting my act together, seeing as I really want to go to art school and all…

In other news, it’s snowing outside. Snow is the best. Now I’m going to go draw a winter-themed picture.

Reference pic was used (I’ve looked for the site, but apparently it’s fallen off the face of the Web), and time taken was many hours, perhaps 4-5 for each portrait, then three for the clothing, etc.

Wow just saw this drawing on Phen's fav site. Great drawing! You did a really good job of capturing everyone's likeness. Faces and features are so hard to draw, but you did a great job! Especially with Amanda and Rick. Seems like I remember that picture. Can't remember where I saw it. But you did a good job on this one. Thanks for sharing it. You definitely have talent! Definitely go to art school! Btw I agree, Long Live Stargate!!!

You're welcome for the comment. I'm a big Stargate fan, and love watching the episodes. So far I have seasons 1-9, and hope to get 10 and the two movies when they come out. Btw thanks for the comment on my avatar. I'm a big RDA fan too! I watched him for 7 years on MacGyver and then watched him in some of his made for TV movies he made, plus a few other movies I bought from other RDA fans. I belong to this really neat website made by Kate Ritter. She has a forum where we can talk about RDA, SG, and MacGyver and just everyday things in general. Lots of nice people there. I've been a member for a long time. That's what led me to start watching SG was because my favorite guy was the Star of the show. I have all 7 seasons of MacGyver and love watching those too. Wish they could have put out those two MacGyver movies separately. I'm still mad about that! Well at least I taped them when they first aired, so I guess that's better than nothing. (sigh)

Maybe next week I'll put up a new RDA avatar. Can't having him wearing that silly hat all year long. LOL

Hope you had a nice 2007 and hope you have a Great 2008! Keep up the great artwork!

Yeah I think he's neat too. He seems to care a lot about the environment, and is involved in a lot of environmental projects and other projects that help people in need. Of course being a celebrity, he can put his full support into all those projects which is neat. And I have heard from people who have met him in person, say that he is a very warm hearted, and congenial person. Unlike some celebrities who are evasive, aloof, and antisocial, I've heard RDA really enjoys meeting people, and talking to them. I've heard he is a very private person, but he doesn't mind spending time talking to fans, and signing autographs. And I think that's neat. Have you ever met him in person? I never have, but would like to one day. He is going to be in Vancouver in August. There is going to be this really big Expensive convention going on there, and he was invited to be there. Luckily he will be there! I can't afford to go, but I know a lot of people are going. I hope he does something here in the states so I can go see him. Maybe it won't be so expensive. That would be good. In the meantime, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

That sounds neat about getting that first season of MacGyver. Hope you get it. I know they are selling this really big package of MacGyver episodes that include the two movies. You might want to get that one instead. At least you would be getting the movies. Check out Amazon.com. Sometimes you can get some good deals there. They may have that big package for less than what you can buy it for in the stores. Anyway, just a thought.

So far we're having a good 2008. Aside from having some car problems and plumbing problems, we can't really complain. At least we have our health, and that's good! Hope you are doing ok too.

Richard Dean Anderson is the best! I really haven't seen that many episodes of MacGyver, but I'm planning on buying the first season. It's funny to see him so young.
