Description Another photo scanned by negative in true color, with a bit of adjusting with ps. I took it a couple years ago in Yosemite, I hope you like the result.

I like it better in negative, although I'm sure the normal picture would have been just as stunning. It almost looks as if the trees are on fire at first glance. Very beautiful.

I like the goldish tint. You scan these form the negatives? That's really cool.

yeah I have a transparency adapter and a negative thingy that goes with it. so it lights it from the top and scans from the bottom. But you know most negatives are brownish in color, so when I scanned these I chose true color instead of black and white. It has been fun playing with..but the image is so tiny that most of the photos end up a little on the blurry side. Oh well. thanks for all the comments today. I really appreciate them.

thanks...yeah the negative scanned in true color really gave it that burned sepia kinda of tone. I have been having a lot of fun playing with that technique. I did do a bit of adjusting to this with PS too, but that was for a little more depth in the trees. thanks again and have a great weekend.

I am a big fan of Photoshop personally. Some people think that true photographers don't need it but not me. It only is a tool to enhance a good photo into a work of art.

You have a great weekend too!

Wow.. thanks a lot. I didn't like this one quite as much as my ghost town pics in the same color tones, but I still thought it was pretty. I think that the resolution could stand a little improvement.. I may resubmit it at a later date.

Thanks so much...most of the sepia tone was actually because I scanned the black and white negative with a transparency adaptor in true color. Same thing I did with the ghost town pics I took. But yeah I love the color tones too, I adjusted them just a touch to give the trees a little more depth.
