i googled dragonflies and been studying some picutres there as a reference for the anatomy tho it was mostly freehanded. and its a shame indeed it is so small tho i just started working with digital art when i made this so had to figure everything out. tho most work made digitally so far is just conceptual/sketching and this is one I intend to redo in a painting once i got my painting techniques down properly.

Lovely, simple idea. It's a shame it's so small, though! I like the positioning/composition of the piece, with the dragonfly having an obvious direction that it's going to go, the brighter light giving the effect that it's got a long way to fly! Did you have an original photo of a dragonfly in flight or did you draw it from mind?
