I did this drawing almost without reference, I just picked a cap of Lost for the pose and then drew without looking at any reference. I hope it doesn't looks like anybody...I'm happy with the drawing but not happy at all with the scan! it looks very different...I don't know what it is...maybe that the original is smoother...well, I post it anyway...
I finished her face and I wanted to add something more, and couldn't think of any other thing than a butterfly...and drew her blonde just for a change...this one also kind of reminds me of *Zindy 's...Although I wasn't aware of that until I finished it...
HB, 2B, 4B pencils and 0.5 mm HB, 2B mech pencils
Duration: 3-4 hours or so

That's really good! I can't believe you drew it without a reference, that's so cool! I guess it gives you a lot more freedom with how you want her expression to be and stuff. The eyes look fantastic, and I love that little trail the butterfly has left behind it!

Yes, I wanted to try something without reference (although I took some proportions from Kate...) and it was fun, but at the end I wasn't sure about it...

I don't like the mouth at all, at least in the scan, it doesn't look like that on the actual drawing, there's not so much contrast, it's smoother, and the part aboce the mouth doesn't look so dark and depp...

Yeah, I don't like it either, lol. Even though the drawing doesn't look like the scan, the scan added a lot of contrast to the mouth, the teeth doesn't stand out so much on the drawing...
