FICTIONAL HISTORY

When Shepard obtain the SR2 from Cerberus, always try to investigate the technology of the ship, and all that he obtain was send to the Alliance. Later, thanks to EDI and his team, he can send much information to the Admiral Hackett.

From this information, Hackett obtain the approbation of design 2 ships with this technology, but with upgrades.

Little time later, 2 concept ships was approved for construct, the new SR3 Class and a more little ship, the SRC Class.

Later, when the SR2 arrive, the Alliance investigates more, and starts upgrade in the SR2.

SR3

The SR3 Class is a new Frigate, based on the best of SR1 and SR2. The dimension of this new ship is more little that the SR2, because was create in base to the alliance requirement, where not exist commodities like the Cerberus ship, and with the idea of reduce the crew.

The SR3 have the body with the design of the SR1, and the Thrusters, wings and fins based in the SR2 Design.

The first ship and prototype, was the ship called Occitania, that proved that this ship accomplish all requeriment of the Alliance that they wanted.

Only 4 ship could be constructed from this class, before the arrive of the Reapers (Occitania, Salamina, Anzio and Debrecen).

The SR3 have more power that the SR2, and was used in the Reapers wars in “Shot and run” tactical.

WEAPONS

2 Thanix Cannon: More big that the SR2 cannons, and thanks to some upgrades, the SR3 cannon have near to 60% more power that SR2 Thanix cannon. The Cannon in the SR3 are mounted in the wings (not retract). It used in Short combat.

5 Rapid Mass Accelerator Cannons: 5 little mass Acceleration, up to the Hangar, that fire little bullet (5 kg) but with a fast cadence of fire and speed. One fire not produce a lot of damage, but many can produce severe damage in the target. These weapons can fire 2 bullet per second. It used in Closed and Medium combat.

16 Gardian Cannon: 10 at front, 6 at Back. It a new weapons, that can fire concentrated energy pulse laser, that penetrate the shield and produce more damage that the Gardian defense system, but less than the other weapons. This weapon is used in closed combat.

Gardian Defense System: The ship has 8 Gardian nodules (protect the 360°), that can fire laser to destroy missiles and destroy or damage fighters. Is possible fire to other big ship, but the damage is very low, but can penetrate the shields. It used in Closed Combat.

Mines (Optional): The Ship can carry mines, and the quantity depend of the cargo bay space available.

Mass Effect 3 and its assets belong to Electronic Arts and BioWare.
