//edit// I’m a little sad that this has to be addressed but since it’s been mentioned more than once, I’ll just make sure to let everyone know before anyone else comments on this issue; THE MIDDLE PAIR ARE SUPPOSED TO BE MOTHER AND SON. It’s supposed to mean acceptance at an early age so that kids can grow up to freely explore who they are. I’m sad (and maybe a little bit offended) that anyone would see it otherwise. Just FYI, I’ve posted this in a few other platforms and only dA has people questioning the middle pair. :/

on the issue with the middle image, I understand that the mother looks young, but not all mothers are middle-aged (I’m a mother myself with a four year old son and still in my twenties, unless 20’s are considered middle-aged? Lmao) The child does not necessarily HAVE to be gay or trans, but he COULD be — and that is the point I was trying to get across. Children at such a young age may or may not know anything about their gender and sexuality but if a parent loves and accepts them in how they want to express themselves at an early age, i’d Like to think that they’d feel less alone in the world if they do start to see that they like things differently than the other boys. If Society doesn’t accept them, at least they will have a safe place at home to explore themselves.

I’m sorry if that point did not come across in this image, but I made this image in complete innocence and it saddens me that society has warped so much that some can only see it as anything but innocent. U__U Please don’t think I’m criticizing you as an individual for seeing this image differently but to society as a whole who have normalized this issue.
