New cosplay - Shizuo Heiwajima from Durarara!Actually I cosplayed this because of the unique chance of doing a shooting in the breathtaking setting of New York City. I couldn't let this chance pass and Shizou was the first one I came up with for such a place. It's not Tokyo, but it's still a gorgeous city. Please enjoy - I did! (American people react so different to cosplay in public - they were all very curious and enthusiastic about it. Germans usually just give a curious look, Americans come over and go about how cool it is XD)

Wait, you're from Germany and you get to go to New York and I've lived in America my whole life and I've never been. So not fair. xD I still love your Shizuo cosplay, I'm working on mine as we speak. My lovely girlfriend will be Izaya. Anyway, I'm starting to ramble, this is an amazing shot!!

I just love this shot to death! Everything about it is amazing, the background and the cosplay.
And yes, me being American I can vouch for how we take public cosplay. People that know about the character will go nuts and people that don't know will approach you for pictures because you look cool no matter what. It was the same thing with me when I cosplayed in public. lol

As always, a gorgeous shot and a wonderful shot. I kept looking at the 'i know you think i'm sexy' shirt person behind you and going 'Yep! New York it is!' I'm American, but as it is West Coast people aren't enthusiastic. Most of the people who ask just want to make sure that you aren't there to rape someone, or to make fun. Oh, Cali. XDD

My favorite Shizou cosplay. This is it, the definite cosplay. Thanks so much for posting it. It is really inspiring and fantastic. My friends are doing a Durarara cosplay group (I'm Simon) and we would like to use this as a reference for our town. ^^

This shot would be amazing even if I had no idea what Durarara!! was. I really do like how nobody is looking at the camera, and especially how they're all just going about their business. My two favorite background people would have to be "I know you think I'm sexy" and shorts guy under the Pepsi sign.
