=== HOW DO I ADOPT A TUFFTY? ===
You just decide to and do! They are totally and completely free for anyone to adopt, so no need to ask (I'll always say yes). You can adopt as many as you like, just make sure to take care of them. You can write about your Tuffty/Tuffties or draw them, change their clothes, give them accessories, etc. The types described here are like describing the differences between a German Shepard dog and a Great Dane dog. They're all Tuffties, just different "breeds", if you will.

If you adopt a Tuffty, please make sure to credit me for the creation of the species and type. Also, DO NOT adopt them just to kill or maim them (or let other Bitties and creatures kill or maim them). Also also, DO NOT declaw them, crop their ears, or dock their tails! That's just cruel.

Kot Tuffty
    Height / Tail Length: 5.5" - 17.2" (14.0 - 43.7 cm) / 0.0" - 11.5" (0.0 - 29.2 cm)
    Ear Types: Upright , folded , or curled
    Fur: They grow fur on their ears, tails, feet, and a tuft on their heads; their colorations range from black to white and every natural color and pattern in between (any naturally occurring color/pattern on existing breed of domestic cat)
    Diet: Carnivore
    Favorite Food: Based on the individual.
    General Opinion: Mixed but generally positive. Kot Tuffties are usually perceived as comforting and playful companions that are independent enough to take care of themselves for the most part. They make for excellent therapy-Bitties and are generally respected and liked for their hot-and-cold nature and gentle affection (once you earn it anyway).
    Traits: Patient, observant, independent and can sometimes come across as aloof, adventurous, content with themselves, curious, courageous, some can be wary or distrustful of others, excellent problem-solvers, fast on their feet, agile, can be quite sociable and cuddly once they come to trust someone, adaptable, stealthy, they generally do not lie (not because they can't but because they see no reason to), ideal companions for those that need or want company
    Notes: Individuals can range from not being territorial at all to extremely territorial! Great care should be exercised when a Kot Tuffty is first brought home. Give them time to adjust and keep an eye out for any signs of being territorial towards the adopter, family members (including other Bitties), or pets. They are loving but protective parents. They may allow their adopters to come close to a new litter or they may lash out, so please make sure to ask before approaching. Kot Tuffties shed year-round, but they tend to develop thicker "coats" in Fall and Winter while shedding heaviest in Spring and Summer. Kot Tuffties can have a variety of thicknesses, lengths, and textures to their fur. Kot Tuffties almost always live with humans and/or Monsters. Feral Kot Tuffties do not live long in the wild. Tuffty eyelights are round but can have "rings" inside or outside the main eyelight. Kot Tuffties DO NOT have slit-like pupils or eyelights.
    Anatomical Notes: Kot Tuffties have sharp claws at the end of every digit. Those on their feet are retractable but claws on their hands are not. They can have natural colored freckles, patches, and stripes on their bones.
    Breeding Notes: Litters born between Kot Tuffties will blend traits between the parents. If breeding with another type of Bitty (like Plumies) and the Tuffty is the Carrier Parent, then all offspring will be a Kot Tuffty. If the Tuffty is the Donor Parent, then all offspring will be the same type as the Carrier Parent (no hybrids!). Kot Tuffties can inherit colors and patterns from other Tuffty types but not other Bitty types (like Plumies). Kot Tuffties CANNOT inherit the Bestial Trait ! They CAN inherit (or "come with") the Dark-Bone and/or Full-Light traits.
