Description Tuffty Bitties, Rodere Tuffty (c) NanoBanana
Bittybones AU (c) Fucken-Crybaby

=== HOW DO I ADOPT A TUFFTY? ===
You just decide to and do! They are totally and completely free for anyone to adopt, so no need to ask (I'll always say yes). You can adopt as many as you like, just make sure to take care of them. You can write about your Tuffty/Tuffties or draw them, change their clothes, give them accessories, etc. The types described here are like describing the differences between a German Shepard dog and a Great Dane dog. They're all Tuffties, just different "breeds", if you will.

If you adopt a Tuffty, please make sure to credit me for the creation of the species and type. Also, DO NOT adopt them just to kill or maim them (or let other Bitties and creatures kill or maim them). Also also, DO NOT declaw them, crop their ears, or dock their tails! That's just cruel.

=== TUFFTEMBER 2021 - DAY 8 ===
This type is loosely based on several types of rodents (including all mouse, rat, guinea pig, and hamster species)! I've actually had this one waiting to be released for the last couple of months, but decided to hold off since Tufftember was right around the corner. Enjoy!

Rodere Tuffty
    Height / Tail Length:  4.0" - 11.4" (10.2 - 29.0 cm) / 0.0" - 11.0" (0.0 - 27.9 cm)
    Ear Types: Small and round , oval-shaped , broad and thin , very large
    Fur: They grow fur on their ears, tails, feet, and a tuft on their heads; their colorations range from black to white and every natural color and pattern in between (any naturally occurring color/pattern on existing species of mouse, rat, guinea pig, hamster, or other kinds of rodent)
    Diet: Herbivore (many can lean towards being omnivorous)
    Favorite Food: Based on the individual.
    General Opinion: Mixed. Rodere Tuffties, due to their visual and some behavioral similarities with actual mice and other such rodents, tend to get lumped in with their animal counterparts and the opinion is very black or white: either a person will like them and find them cute, or the person will be unnerved or even grossed out by them. Despite their intelligence, curiosity, and industrious nature, most humans give these Tuffties a wide berth and rarely feel bad for letting the household pets catch and kill them.
    Traits: Many tend to be quite skittish (especially around new people), cautious, will rarely take risks if there is any way around it, intelligent, clever, curious, adaptable, industrious, quite social, they appreciate love and affection, even with people they trust Rodere Tuffties always have an escape route ready, incredibly fast, excellent jumpers, very limber and able to squeeze through any gap larger than their head, usually very quiet, best for adopters that are willing to keep them occupied (they can become quite destructive otherwise, even if they don't mean to be!)
    Notes: They are not territorial towards other Tuffties, Plumies, Bitties, etc., but they can be somewhat territorial towards other Rodere Tuffties. If there is plenty of space and resources around, territorial disputes will be infrequent and revolve around attention and games. If resources or space becomes scarce, they have been known to fight and sometimes even drive out other Rodere Tuffties. They are caring but cautious parents that will often keep their offspring tucked out of sight until they're old enough to run away on their own. Rodere Tuffties shed very little all year round, though some are known to develop thicker fur in the colder months. Rodere Tuffties can have a variety of thicknesses, lengths, and textures to their fur. Rodere Tuffties can adapt to thrive in just about any environment, whether in a house or outdoors. Tuffty eyelights are round but can have "rings" inside or outside the main eyelight.
    Anatomical Notes: Rodere Tuffties have thin claws at the end of every digit. They also have strong incisors that grow steadily and continuously (they will need something to gnaw on regularly to help keep the length in check). They can have natural colored freckles, patches, and stripes on their bones.
    Breeding Notes: Litters born between Tuffties will blend traits between the parents. If breeding with another type of Bitty (like Plumies) and the Tuffty is the Carrier Parent, then all offspring will be a Tuffty. If the Tuffty is the Donor Parent, then all offspring will be the same type as the Carrier Parent (no hybrids!). Rodere Tuffties can inherit colors and patterns from other Tuffty types but not other Bitty types (like Plumies).
