Ho-hum.Just a doodle using my new Micron pen. I need to draw Sonar more, let alone actually draw her wings in as well. Btw, I know I forgot to shade her left foot and actually add a shadow but I wasn't aiming for perfection here.
...despite living with my boyfriend, I really feel lonely. We live very separate lives; he works 3-4 days a week and hangs out with his friends, where as I just kinda sit here at home by myself. I have not a single soul to spend time with - whether it be playing the Wii, making an ass of myself on DDR, maybe taking a hike in the woods by the creeks or better yet...drawing with some one. I don't have anyone for that around here, and it's really been discouraging lately.
Main reason why I've made myself scarce, my apologies.

I really love Sonar's wings here, they look beautiful. You should definitely draw her with them more, the way you draw wings is fantastic.

Very cute picture.
I know that feeling about living in a new place with no one around you know. And it is hard to make new friends the older you get. But don't dwell on it. Check and see if there are any get togethers in your local paper (or their website). I know my paper on Thursday and Friday lists things to do on the weekend. Many of them are free. There are lots of social gatherings for all different reasons. You might find something and someone to call friend. There is also an online community called meetup.com or something, that is very similar.
Just hang in there and keep your chin up instead of down. Eventually you will find something and someone to call friend.
I live in Florida, so I can't even try and meet up with you. lol

Live in NJ on the east coast, pretty much central in the state for 21 years. Moved to Southeast Florida 8 years ago. Been on the Treasure Coast for about 4 years now, almost 5. LOL.

I know what you mean about the doldrums. My friends all live within walking distance of me, and I never get to see them. I just sit around at home... and do nothing.
I love how cute (and kinda sad) the drawing is. It makes me want to go "Awwwwww" from the cuteness, and then "Aw..." from the sadness.

Now about the art, I REALLY like her pose. It's sooo cute! I just want to pick her up and squeeze the life out of her, but that would be a bad idea. xD The coloring is very pretty too! Especially on those wings.
