I'm not the creator of Twokinds. See for the actual creator.
I merely messed around in a paint program with some panels from the comic.

i always thought it was kinda like the elder scrolls, almost. i mean, the keridian are like kahjit and argonian, the bastin are like... some sorta elf mabye? and the humans are nords, with the templar as imperials.

What can I say? It makes a great story! Besides, making the girl be a different species seems to be the only way to make the 20 year old main character show any kind of restraint, lol.

Based on my experience I'd say 300 Sucks sewer water compared to TwoKinds,
but that's just my opinion.

okay, 1. how is the sorcery "science-defying" in any way? (if anything it's the exact oposite: it makes perfect sense in all regards)
2. strangely enough, i did not think of the relation to major arm strong until after seeing this exact work.
3. did ya put this on the panel shuffle board on the main site's forum? (just wondering, it'd fit quite well there)
4. .... inter-species romance? you bet! and it's adorable! definately qualifies as top notch seinen. (nothing i've liked better since that g-1 transformer's episode "the girl who loved power-glide")
that is all. (well, except for the fact that i hated 300 as a movie...)

2. gotcha. good point.
3. i see... excellent.
4. i suppose... i thought it was kewl though.
1. umm.... okay then. i suppose i just never mentioned
before that sorcery is a science in itself, due to the
fact that it functions on a constantly reliable,
formula per formula basis that has repeatable and
thus studiable, testable, and useable results.
hence why magi tend to study thier tomes and
refine thier experements for hours on end.
meaning that they are scientists in themselves.
(regardless of how others may consider them)
not that many other people really care....
oh well, i suppose i'm just one of those
people who will do such things as [link]
oh, and the main reason i hated 300 hundred was because
the persians already had pump action oil-based flamethrowers
by that point in time, meaning that the spartan's bronze
armor would just melted into thier skin...
and thus they would gotten thier asses handed to them. big time.

It would be repeatable with the help of older/experienced Magi. Ask a apprentice, and you'd probably end up on the moon when all you wanted was a cup of tea.
I'm not that good at history, so I'll take your word for it.

umm.... i beleive you may be missing the factor that the amount of energy required in order
to transport someone that far, let alone keep the strigience stable while in transfer from a
pressureized area to what is basically a vaccum is well beyond an aprentice, even by acccident.
and the factor that translocations are of the alteration discipline, which is totally separate
from the conjuration discipline(which is about transmuting energy into matter btw, not "createing" it)
meaning that a much more likely result of a miscast would be at the most having hot tea spill in your lap instead.
(mostly due to the formation matrix of the process not managing to fully form the cup, thus making broken glass)
let's just say that it is equivalent to a chemistry student accidently making musturd gas,
they still botched the attempt yes, but it didn't exactly end up with making a black hole now did it?
(because you know, at the most that'd happen from a gravity generator on the fritz, not a mixture destabilizing)

Okay, with the Arms General, It seems anyone who has seen Full Metal Alchemist had the same idea I had, him being similar to Major Armstrong.
