I can just about remember the old version, this is certainly a different approach. The former was far more basic in it's design and not seeming quite so busy. I mean in the snse that th new version has more details and features to it, such as the beak which is emphasised more, the horns or the yellow tipped wings.
3"6' 28lbs, hmm maybe just a tad bit too big to sit on some peoples shoulders, but I could lift him no trouble! He would certainly look more menacing on my shoulder than it's former self, and any parrot for that matter.
All in all I like this new design, certainly puts across a greater sense of pride to the pokemon. I can see it sitting upright with beak held high, watching over the land in front.

Speaking of parrots a guy was walking around a shop with one on his shoulder a while back, I had to do a double take! I was thinking is that guy allowed that parrot in here, what about the dogs that need to be tied up outside!? XD
