The style reminds me a little of the illustration in the.... oh dang is it the peter rabbit books I'm thinking of? I think so... Just... that old illustration style I remember as a kid.

You so CAN do traditional media.
This is gorgeous, the background colors are vibrant but not overwhelming and that fur texture is to die for. This could be an illustration straight out of a storybook. I hope you do more stuff like this in the future!

This... I cannot explain to you how much this made my day. I have had the shittiest day. I came home, pissed off and exhausted, and slumped down on the couch to bask in my food stash and watch CSI. Then I came upstairs, saw this, and cracked up.
