How are you able to keep the measurements correct while posing?

Awesome work. Is it digital or traditional and if its traditional what materials do you use?

Hmmm... I think I get what you're saying but I'm still a tad confused. The head size didn't change from the looks of it but the body is smaller compared to the kid and teenagers. When it comes to heights that aren't that much shorter for instance, how do you measure out the proportions? Do you shorten the torso? The legs? I can't seem to get my character to be the right height compared with the other girls that are her age.Β

Thanks, this is really helpful. I'm doing the art for a friend who's writing a comic/manga/graphic novel (not sure what it'll be, it's only in planning so far), but I haven't done something that big before, so it's awesomeΒ Β to have a consistent reference to start until I get more comfortable!

That one is kinda helpful for the beginning. I think that method reaches its limits once it comes to more complex perspectives such as a side view.

Is it okay that I could use this as practice to get use to shaping the positions and send you my own sketch to see if it correct?
I find it much difficult to draw just bigger pieces (such as the doing just the torso part) especially when being careful about the chest, breast, arms, neck (especially the neck!) and shoulders x x...

I never thought of drawing the heads out to help with proportions, but is there a way to remember the shape of the contour, depending on the pose? (If you were drawing without a reference, and wanted to go off memory?)

there is,but just after you had practiced a lot or just the necessary, you'll already know the sizes of what you want, just because of the practice..
also, you could always just use the references whenever you wanted to do something of...well as I usually say Official, like something Super-Duper important~ I think you get it...I do hope so xP x3 qwq

Does the head size stay the same with age? Like i know the whole size changes (like 4 heads to 5 to 6 ect) but would the actual head size change (like 2cm for child 3 for teen 4 for adult etc?)
When i draw it seems the head is toobig for the body even though the proportions are correct
