Yay colors! I'll make a different popsicle picture, since I haven't really figured out how to make layers on my drawing program...yet. I'm going to start sketching out some faces for my popsicles! Thanks for commenting!

Which drawing program do you use? If you say Adobe Illustrator then I shall have to kill you. Because I can NOT understand it. I've FINALLY gotten down Adobe Flash, and I'm a pro with MS Paint. I even kinda figured out Adobe After Effects. But Illustrator is a curse...! If anyone can use it, I'll automatically consider them a genius. o.0

I use Serif Draw Plus6, which is a vector/logo creator, and Photo Impression4, which is used to edit photos (but it works okay for scanning and coloring drawings. ^ ^) I have no idea how to use any Adobe program or Corel. It's all way to complicated for me. All I learned in highschool was basic keyboarding and 'how to do an internet search'. Big wow. I applaud anyone who can use any Adobe program, or MS Paint. I never learned that one either.

I've never heard of any of those programs... I might go look them up later.

I don't remember ever having LEARNED how to make a web search, 'cause it was kind of all about common sense. But I guess some people do have to be taught how, since when my friends would use the computers, they'd ask my help on how to use Google. I laugh at those who still aren't able to after all my lessons. XD

It was way back when the internet first started getting big, around 1997-1998. They just stuck 'how to do an internet search' onto senior year keyboarding as an intro to the web. It was really dumb. My little brother, who graduated highschool last year got to learn how to use Photoshop and all that great art stuff. Grrrrr.

I wish they taught us at my school how to use advanced stuff. The only technological thing we ever learned was how to set up an overhead projector. And that was only this past year. The even worse thing was that the teacher didn't even know how to do it.

Lol! I kind of feel sorry for some of the older people that are teaching and can't figure out some of the new technology. I keep having to remind myself that things I take for granted (like dvd players) weren't around 20 years ago, and are intimidating things to older people. It's like the leap from VHS to DVD. Now there is Blu-ray, which I don't really get (I thought that a DVD was as advanced as it got.)I have to admit, that if I were handed an iPhone, or even a Blackberry, I would wouldn't know how to use it or even navigate the menus! I have enough trouble just trying understand HD tv's. To my primitive eyes (I'm 29, and a technological dinosaur)the picture just looks weird... You turn your back for one moment, and you trip and get disqualified in the Technology race! It is funny though. I laugh at myself a lot! Do they even still make Overhead projectors anymore?

Nah, they don't MAKE overhead projectors anymore, but my school still uses them because they're the only things the teachers understand. I mean, I was in class about a year ago and this kid went up to the teacher (who was about 90 years old... well, maybe 80) and asked if he could print something on the computer. The teacher asked him what it was and he said, "cheat codes". The teacher asked what they were. The kid started telling him "Cheat codes. You know, for a game... a video game... you know, cheat codes? That you put in?" So the teacher was basically confused for the rest of the day. He had about as much chance of knowing what cheat codes were as a goldfish would about the theory of uncertainty of measurements.

A.K.A. none at all.

And I used to think I was "computer smart" for knowing how to use Word. Now people think they're "computer smart" for being able to completely code a flash into a website while hacking into the government's security at the same time as sending instant messages to their BFFs while blindfolded with one hand tied behind their back.

I'm toast.

Hahahahah! I had a professor in college economics who refused to teach using anything more technologically advanced than a chalkboard and chalk! And he was maybe only about 50 years old. Then I had a prehistoric chemistry professor who only knew how to use the computer to teach. If it was broken, that was it, class dismissed! I have a text messaging speed of -50 characters per minute. I solved the problem by writing a short message on a post it note, then taking a picture of it with my phone and sending it to the lucky recipient...it's so lame, but my friends get a kick out of it!

I think I might want to try that post-it note trick... it's pure genius!

And I had a teacher who could ONLY teach with his computer too. The whiteboard would remain blank all year long, except for when he'd use the computer screen projector on it.

I myself can't stand chalk. The very thought of its horrible texture makes me cringe.

Be sure to write 'Text Message' across the top. Here's another one. I had my group of kids in the classroom last summer and my sister's group was in the gym, and I needed to ask her something. My solution? Ghetto IM. I sent one of my friends with a hand written note across the campus to the gym. He thought it was hilarious and it became our favorite thing to do when we got bored. Just send a Ghetto IM!

That's not unlike what I do around my house. Whenever someone wants to reach someone else they just call on cell phones or an alternate phone line. Because we're too lazy to walk to the next room.

I think it'd be even better if you changed their expressions from day to day. ^^ You know, like an increasing smile size Monday through Thursday, and on Friday a and Saturday a sleepy Popsicle....etc.

It's just...they all look kind of...bored.

.....LOL. Sleepy Popsicle.

You're welcome! I can't put up any art of my own stuff because our family's main computer (the one with a scaner) just computed its last byte, so I've been going around and seriously analyzing other peoples' art. It's actually a refreshing change.
