I just love your use of colours, and the shading is absolutely fantastic.
The variated tickness of the linework is also great, and the character looks lovely in your style!
And to think you were able to create such presice strokes and gradients with watercolours is absolutely increadible.

It is mainly because of watercolor pencils, they can be shaped in any smooth gradient

I mean, I have tried some, but only in elementary school, so I have little to no expirience really.
(Except I have been told they taste particularely bad. 
But I'll look into it then, if I ever am to try watercolouring again. ^^
However, the tool is only a means for the end, and it all really depends on the artist at work.Β

Most of my traditional work go with markers, or regular watercolours.Β
(aka the cheap kind you buy for kids xD)
I haven't been too serious with traditional art as I do not have a scanner to show it.
(The one I have doesn't even pick up black ink anymore, haha)

Ah, as much as I would have loved to, I do not believe I currently have the time.
My full pictures usually takes a while to get done, and with some big projects at schoolΒ I find myself only able to draw for an hour a day.Β
I would therefore like to finish the work I already have signed up for, before I add more to my to do list. ^^'
However, if we both have time at a later day I would love to discuss a trade with you then?
After all, your style certainly is beautiful, so the general idea of having an art trade with you sounds really appealing.

Oh gosh beb. I'm sorry for taking so long to comment on this; I've been keeping it safe and sound in my inbox until I had time to tell you in depth how awesome it is.
I absolutely love the look of watercolors on this ;o; I'm not good with watercolors at all so I truly admire anyone that has been able to master it.
I love how her fins wrap around her tail where she is sitting, and how you've thinly lined her intricate markings. She really looks quite inviting and I just lvoe the use of tea in this picture! I certainly have a fond weakness for tea and I collect it, so this hits home for me XD
