"Be Original, Not a copy"
I love this quote. It speaks such truth and I feel it is something we all must strive to do.
I have seen so many people steal and copy off of Natsume and others in the many years I have
been online. I don't mind most of the time because some are inspired. However, there
have been a handful who bluntly try to steal my character as well as others. When people do that
I feel like they are just so uncreative they can't come up with something on their own. I have always
been a different kind of person. I don't follow trends, I don't do things others do. I have just always
tried to make my own path in life and I feel thats something everyone should try to do. Its one thing
to be inspired by something, but to just utterly rip it off without paying homage ... is just wrong.
I made this picture to promote being yourself and not trying to be like everyone else.

I do get upset when people steal or copy and get all the credit but I can't be mad because there kids and they don't know better.But that doesn't make it right.SO be your self and if you mess up here it's ok because we can all improve.unlike amino apps *chokes*.

I dislike who tries to steal/copy the idea/personality. (Yeah, I've seen a guy pretending to be someone else... Saying and acting just like the one he was pretending to be. Fortunately he didn't used his name too.)
I CAN'T even think of copying someone: I'd feel incomplete... Useless. Like if I only get lifted up to the top of the mountain by someone who just scaled it.
So I agree 100% with you.

Nothing is original. Everything is a copy of everything else. References, idea's, everything comes from something else.
Doesn't make it wrong if you do it, what makes it wrong is if you don't even try to put yourself into the idea.

Weebl and Cartoon Hangover both did the same idea.
One turned it into a song,
The other made a comedy skit.
Both using the same idea, but putting their view on it.
Nothing is original, but there's nothing wrong with that.

The things i do when i look at others pictures is like this, this is what i learn from you drawing:
- how the face of a wolf or og could be drawn.
- eye size
- paw and legs pose
- tail size compared to body
- fluffy ness
hahha all these things i burn into my brain to use on my own future drawings, not looking and copying this picture just learning from it

Well if they do I will find them through the google search bar. It makes it
so much easier to find things. And when I find them I will warn them that they
are subject to fine if they do not remove the image since everything I post is
copyright to me.

Yeah, that's a good idea.
After all, if someone stole a painting of Picasso's from an art museum, they'd be arrested or fined a very very hefty fine, so why not the same for your art?
Also I heard you'd been in hospital so the next Wolfs Rain Next Gen wouldn't come out for awhile. I didn't believe it because there was no journal or anything, so is it true or was that person just lying? c:

No its true. I was in the hospital and I am still recovering. There is no
journal because frankly its no ones business to know where I am. I did
however say I was going to do the comic after christmas in a journal regarding
the secrete santa project I am a part of. So be sure to keep a look out
after christmas ^^

Very nice work Natsume! I apologize this is all happening to you and your characters, some people don't understand the work put into these types of things, it isn't just something to take ... keep striving! You're beautiful and an amazing artist as well as a much needed inspiration to me!!
