I'll be working with this pelt for a custom headdress for a customer. It's not very wide, but it is pretty big for a fox, measuring 53" in total length. I had a hell of a time finding it, but a call to a west coast tannery was my lucky break.

The pelt was not deemed suitable for garment use due to a tear at the rear end which was later repaired. The tannery was happy to be rid of it.

I'm not really a fox person, but I do love the feel of this pelt. If I have a chance to buy another one when this guy is gone, I probably will.
