It's the Revell kit; reissued in 1997. Β It has recessed panel lines (actually pretty well done). Β It's 1/32 scale (looks nice and big on my display shelf!). Β Not as nice as the Tamiya kit but a lot cheaper!

the phantom is one of my all time favorite combat jets Β and a lot of people out there dont reliaze that revell made more phantom version's in 1/32 scale than any other company if i am not mistaken they did the B,J,RF4B, THE C/D RF4E AND THE E, ALL IN 32 SCALE im not sure if they did the G,N or S versions but i know the did most of them. i have been a loyal supporter Β of revell for 30 some years.
and a lot of critic's have picked on revell on their older kits but what do you expect from the technology back then no model company ever has gotten a kit 100% right lol but yet one thing abut revell they still keep their prices low. and their kits have gotten better and better.

I agree, and some of their new kits are really nice and still a bargain, like their new Ventura and the new 1/72 scale b-17!

the phantom kits are not tail sitters i did not have to use any weight's in my 2 phantoms but anyway it looks good kid of naked with out weapons though i like the added resin FOD intake covers.

Thanks - the Southeast Asia camo scheme is a lot of work, but if it turns out right, it really looks awesome!
