Once again, a red lion fish (Pterois volitans) at Lowry Park Zoo, Tampa, FLI didn't dive, I shot it through glass, without flash of course.

Yesterday was a busy day and I couldn't reach my laptop to submit each weeks feature, so I'm one day late, oops...
I'm happy how this one turned out! I browsed some galleries I'm not used to browse to find a theme, and that was something great

Thanks for this meaningful and informative critique. I shot this photo through glass with the widest aperture (f/4.8) available and the shortest possible shutter speed (1/400 s) with an ISO pushed to 2800. The out-of-focus leaves are due to a shallow depth of field centering on the fish. I have NOT added them after the fact. The highlights are blown alright, but I can live with that, because the light also provided illumination of the fish.

Really beautiful, especially considering that you had to take this without flash and I know it's a bit darker in such places. The result is amazing.
