Found this as a WIP, and decided to finish it. just another doodle in Poser
Poser Pro 2014 render, levels/colour adjustments and lensblur DOF (from Poser z-channel) in Photoshop.

It is.
I think the secret (if that's the right word) is knowing what it CAN do and what it CAN'T do, and pushing towards the CAN side of things whilst not having unrealistic expectations about its CAN'T side.
I've been pushing Firefly as much as I can and I get some favourable comparisons with Luxrender and the like, which always pleases me.
