I'm not sure about the manip, tbh. The hands look kinda vague, which, though, only adds to a certain gloomy look this has. What I like about the hands is the lighting.
The teeth aren't 100 % what I'd expect from a mystical pumpkin monster.
Plus I'd like some more detail, and maybe another background. The stars, I dunno.. A moon might work better, imo.
Other than that:
P.S. I sincerely loathe seeing all these "great job" sort of comments you're getting. It's not that you don't do a good job. It's just that I wish a bit more constructive criticism would come to an artist of your caliber.

Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!q I can't believe it is almost Halloween. It's by far my far my favorite holiday. Started decorating today. If I wasn't so busy, my apartment would be a haunted house by now. Hope to see more halloween stuff.

This sure is a damn well done, creepy piece. Technically perfect, it has a weird and uncomfortable impact - the pumpkin creature being distressed and moaning, screaming in horror himself rather than instilling it on the viewer, clutchig his cheeks... like wishing to peel them off... my association is that of a horrible transformation a formerly normal person goes through, and becomes aware of. Just my personal hunch of course, triggered by one of the most unpleasant childhood anxieties of mine (after stumbling across Kafka's The Transformation when still way too young as well as reading some horror fiction which wasn't meant for me
