Description I shall call them Zeezrom and Abish

finished version of: [link]

For Monthly Gargoyles Contest "Native Cultures"

You know, I didn't realize how short he was until I colored him.... oh well. So yup... I decided to go with blues and greens for my colors I wish I hadn't used so much red and yellow on Zeezrom, oh well

Actually the Navajo tribe of the Native American tribes are in Arizona in the Southwest. You can always redraw this gargoyle pair of mates, Zeezrom and Abish. I'm working on 2 Native American Indian gargoyle groups, the Iroquoi Clan and the Sioux Clan. Got a lot of work to do on research.

Nice!
Back in the day, I felt so jipped that my race was one of the few who didn't get Gargoyle counterparts. lol

The closest they came in the show was "heritage". yeah, I like to think there are Gargoyle counterparts for all varieties of people

I love the colors on his body paint and the details on her shawl. What tribe are they?

I want to guess Navajo, but I confess I'm quite ignorant of these things, I do hope I learn a little more every day.

I like the Idea of native gargoyles.
I think in the series there are jungle gargoyles or aztecian gargoyles.

Lovely, though I have yet to see a Native American Gargoyle-like myth in reality (the closest thing so far being the Jersey Devil), I can overlook it.

Though I really wish they did.

The Deer-like antlers on the blue one are a nice touch.

Er--until I went and double-checked, re-finding the Axeki of California. Otherwise, they're all from south of the US (from Mexico to Brazil).

nice gargoyle designs! They definititely have a native american look. The guy's legs seem a litle short but it's not that bad. I really like how you colored those rocks too.

Thanks! I used a picture from the lucasARTs game "the DIG" as a reference for the rock, hehe!
