Dr Wiley has been known to be a bit eccentric, it seems to follow madness. In his most eccentric moments Wiley obsessed with the aeronautic prowess of fellow madman Howard Hughes. His obsession reflected in the works of his personal pride and joy, Prototype R144A.
Based very loosely on the core robotics archetype of Heat Man, the prototype was nothing more than an effort of art and compulsion. A one piece aluminum alloy body was painstakingly bored, honed and polished to a mirror like finish before being painted, Bomber Blue. A turbine propulsion centerpiece fed by a much smaller atomic reactor (via Heat Man) generated such immense air pressures that Wiley saw potential for his personal masterpiece to be used as something much more. Soon afterwards, armed with an intense wind vectoring arm cannon, Air Man was activated.
