Description Working Prototype: R1450W
Height: 2.5M
Weight: 570 kilos
Special Ability: Liquid Metal Generation

Building robot armor is never an easy task. Weight, availability, and easy of manufacturing are all vital components to consider when designing robot armor. Wiley, being the genius that he is, thought of an alternative to a fully armored prototype...partial rotating armor.
Prototype R1450W was outfitted with a derivative of Bubble Man's liquid metal generator. Instead of using the design as a projectile weapon, Wiley saw the benefits of coating lightweight materials and suspending them in orbit via a quasi gravitational electromagnetic generator. This rotating metal satellites would create a nearly impenetrable shield to the electromagnetic core. Since the shield acted upon gravity, the movement of the gravitational center would cause the suspended objects to break orbit and the shield would no longer be effective. Wiley knew this was a fatal flaw in his design, but his arrogance (and general lack of interest) drove him to cut corners near the end of the project. To save on weight and materials, Wiley opted to exclude any projectile weapon for his prototype. Low grade syncros were used at most points of mobility rendering the prototype to very little movement. Balsa wood was used as the exoskeleton which provided a water resistant barrier, but little more. Wood Man would be later referred to as "The greatest disappointment of a good idea"

I love it how Wood Man's signature attack is Leaf Shield. It's annoying when he uses it, but when you obtain it, it's amazing.

Agree that it is pretty powerful! Especially on those platform stages

Believe it or not, not many people trying to draw Wood Man more 'adult'. This is like the only one I can find.

Bah! They said Wiley was insane! Those fools... would a madman build a killer robot with a Balsa Wood exoskeleton? I think not! Those simpletons can't appreciate true genius!

It's scary how close insanity and genius is...usually the resulted title is the difference between a failed idea versus a successful one.

It looks... interesting. But the official designs are always better.
