Description Working Prototype: R1488Q
Height: 2M
Weight: 290 Kilos
Special Ability: Accelerated hydraulics

Dr Wiley understood advanced physics. Fortunately the most principle physics formula F=MA would guide him to the design of one of his greatest creations, prototype R1488Q. His design plan was simple...create the lightest combat robots in the world.
Everything that was thought as a vital component to a combat robot was stripped off prototype R1488Q. Gone was the traditional arm cannon, high density armor plating, mechanical actuators as well as the overly complex internal signaling and clocking system which coordinates synchronized movements and attacks. Wiley replaced all dense metalloids with an ultra light weight aluminum alloy and carbon skeleton. Movement was initiated by a series of hydraulic pistons and electromagnetic switch plates. This system produced phenomenal results which resulted in a nimble and acrobatic prototype. This system would have revolutionized the modern robot, although potential buyers were wary of the cost as well as complexity to maintain. In his final bid to show the robot's true strength as the future prototype of all robotics; Wiley placed his robot in head to head battles against all the other commercial units. R1488Q, the 'Quick Man', destroyed the competition in all categories save for one: cost. At nearly quadruple the price of any other robot on the market, buyers left Wiley and his masterpiece alone on the showroom floor.

I have to say that I love the physics and the engineering aspects that you put into your variation of Quick Man. I think your image design of him really reflects the physics and engineering you described.

I like Quickman alot too, especially after I read a story about him and Plum from Megaman Battle and Chase. [link]
He is so funny.

I... don't even know what to say. He's just beautiful.

You did him such justice. ;w;

Especially love the face (and those tight tights; they really accentuate the sleekness of his design)--it's so simple, it's superb.

I would save up and buy him. D: I'd never need a car or other mode of transportation again in my life; I could just hop on Qboy and get him to take me wherever I needed to go, and all would be well in the world.

You are too kind! As always, thanks for the fave, and just to let you know Quick man is one of my faves when it comes to robot masters.

Sure thing! Yeah, in my hierarchy of robots, Quickie's tied for first with Bubbles and Heat. I've always been a fan of the speedsters.
