Description
Claude Frollo/Esmeralda, of 'Hunchback of Notre Dame' fame. I feel dirty. And it feels good.
Based off the French musical 'Notre Dame de Paris' more than any other version, really, though I tweaked a few things, most noticably the clothes - the character costumes are pretty on stage, but'd be kinda boring in a picture - and Dom Claude's hair. My limited artistic skills couldn't recreate that semi-spikey 'do Daniel Lavoie sported for the part, so a greying semi-Draco Malfoy thing'll have to do.
... This pairing is evil. So why does it feel so good?

i really love this picture.
for alot of reasons.
1 is that you drew them with their book appearance. (i loved their disney versions. but its so rare to see fanart of their book selves)
and another is that esmerelda's face is so relaxed and frollo looks like hes sort of squinting. like hes nervous or something.
and 3. the colours are so smooth. and i love how slender their figures are.
altogether great picture.

Well, according to the book he's thirty-six - though aging badly because of his involvement in alchemy - but for some reason it's apparently stylish to make him older.
