Made these about two years ago, while I was obsessing over fallout 3 and the mad max movies.
I found them the other day while moving a shelf and decided to take some pictures and post them.

I don't suppose you you could explain how the elbow guards are made. I'm working on my own set of post apocalyptic plate mail but I can't figure out how to make an elbow piece.

3 strips of leather. The metal is riveted to the leather with the two outer pieces of metal under the center piece, making it flexible. Here's about what it looks like from the back:

It's all held together with old leather belts.

Probably 2 belts per piece, but I got them cheap from thrift stores.
