I can't believe I haven't uploaded this yet, I really thought I had... This is one of my personal favourites of Scotland.When I left the Isle of Skye I thought I'd had a great vacation, and although I hadn't seen everything yet I was ready to go home again (maybe because I was sick, the three hour ride from the Isle of Skye to Inverness, the airport, starting from 4 am I was throwing up in a bag in the moving car every half hour... Did try to enjoy the scenery in between though ^^). I didn't think I'd want to go back this much. I did miss the trees when I was there, but I do really love the scenery, the weather and the light. I can't wait to go back again.

Beautiful shot with the sun breaking through the clouds. Everywhere is dark, cold, damp, stone . . . . but for this sudden breath of light and fresh air.

Excellent photo! It's a wonderful place. I was there for two weeks last summer, quite a mix of weather and light we had. The first week was mainly cold and wet and the second unbearably hot and this was July!

Beautiful! It's kind of magical. It makes me really want to go to Scotland. The birds add an element of interest, but obviously the main point of interest is the illuminated patch of land. It reminds me of my experience of Scotland in the background - it rained a lot when we went to Skye... Lovely shot!

It rained a lot when we were there as well... But in combination with the short periods of sun it made for lovely rainbows

That's fantastic. You've really caught what makes Scotland special, the atmosphere, the light.... I can almost smell the Talisker! Hope you didn't get eaten alive by the dreaded MIDGES......!!!!!!
