Things have been hectic the past couple months with work and family issues, but it got to the point where I couldn't take the inactivity any longer. I wanted to do something a little more self-referential for the 100th Fandumb comic, but, well, here you go. I'm not sure if I'm going to be making any more Fandumb comics, but I definitely want to start doing other things. So, please expect to see some new things, soon. I want to get at least a couple new comics up every week, so I'm gonna be striving to do that.

One thing I hated about Starkiller Base is that it has the same name as one of the worst characters to ever appear in Star Wars (that being from The Force Unleashed).

No it wasn't! Force Unleashed sucks totally, and was the worst thing to happen to the series ever! You do not know how much I DESPISE The Force Unleashed!
And I really hate Starkiller so much! That 7th movie just had to remind me of my hatred with naming the newest Dark Side Super Weapon after him too!
The Force Unleashed's story was insanely weak, and it took too much creative license with the force powers, resulting in blatant disregard for established characters and background set in the other installments of the series, lots of big plot holes, messy and nonsensical story structure, and rampantly apparent contradictions in the series's internal logic.
OH HURR DURR LET'S MOVE AN ENTIRE STAR DESTROYER YARP. I don't care what they say, or how much of a Jedi Master he is, It would take an entire army of Jedi to Force Push a Star Destroyer, THEY'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO DO THAT!
I'm all for adding onto the already massive Star Wars universe, but in my opinion, nothing from Force Unleased should be considered canon.

Funnier thing : there is whole bunch of books creating continuous SW universe. Of course they were ignored too (and they are older than Force Unleashed). Even more funny, there was a ship that was able to destroy suns.

Well so far disneys track record has been pretty good. Their new expanded unverse stuff has been pretty good critically wise,their film did well with audiences and critics. Lucas mean while had been going downhill for a while. We got the prequels, and while the old expanded universe was good, it got cancerous in the last few years, with many cannon contradictions and was becoming too bloated to sustain its self for much longer. While I love the Thrawn trilogy and dislike it being wiped from canon,the expanded universe had become too big to support any more movies,or its self. It need a big clean up sooner or later
