from what I've heard the new dark force users are called the Knights of Ren, so instead of being called "Darth something" they change their names and take Ren as their last name. i find this interesting because it makes them sound like evil church militants who are married to their cause. I'm now imagining Kylo Ren being inducted into the Knights of Ren with Snoke kneeling and offering him a ring.

Rule of two means there can only be two sith lords with the title of Darth at the same time. The master (Darth Sidious) enbodies power while aprentice (Darth Maul, Darth Tyranus & Darth Vader ) seeks the power the master has. The rule dictates sucession results in the student killing the master (hence why Vader offered Luke to join him) or the master allows another outside force to kill and replace his student (Sidious replace Maul with Tyranus who is killed and replaced by Vader whom Sidious hope would be kill and replace by Luke). But if both the master and students dies ( like Sidious and Vader did in Return of the Jedi), then their is no one to inherit the title of Darth along with thousands of years of Sith knowlege that passed from one sith lord to another.

The Rule of Two started with Darth Bane a thousand years or so after the Old Republic. By that point, Darth Bane was the only Sith lord left mainly because he manipulated the others to kill each other off during their last battle against the Jedi; thus allowing him to rebuilt the Sith Order from scratch govern by his philosophy and plot the destruction of the Jedi order from the shadows.

Every piece of media I've seen discussing Kylo Ren has referred to him as a "new acolyte of the dark side" or a "dark side user" or some such thing. The term "sith" has never been used. Plus, none of them use the term "Darth", which I think was a pretty big indication. That and, you know, assuming that Abrams didn't want to make the whole prophecy of Anakin destroying the sith completely null and void.

Well, Kylo is part of the Knights of the Ren, so that my be the reference material Neodusk is using and assuming that that is the new term for "Sith".
But if you do have recollection of someone calling them the Sith still, please let me know. I prefer to have all the knowledge I can get ;D
