THIS IS NOT MY PAINTING! I simply wanted to share it. This is just a photograph I took with my cell phone of the artist, Michael Summers, with his mural (in progress).Michael Summers, a local artist in Carlsbad where I live, has been commissioned by the city to do a mural on the wall of one of the buildings in Carlsbad Village. I have been driving by his mural every day this week, and today I saw Michael out front working on it! So I stopped, and introduced myself and took this picture.
This mural is a gigantic recreation of one of Michael's latest works titled "Catnap". It can be seen on this facebook page and also on this one .
His work is also featured in the Exclusive Collections gallery .
If anybody knows if Michael has a DA page, I was unable to find it, so please share it with me.
