you have a miraculous talent for rendering things with the sign of something familiar, but the visage of something unreal. at first glance this is a landscape, but everything about it has been replaced. the uneasy feeling you get from trying to understand the shighlights of the clouds in contrast to the shadow they cast....

the cleanliness of the clouds looks really sweet with the dirtier feel of the rest of the piece. i love the shadows (or whatever they are) below them. this is a great piece!
