Description
The cold gray skiesform a lucid barrier,
which nothing
can break through.
A confinement so well made,
not even a ray of light
can pierce its outer shell.
A curious thing.
There is no warmth
only the bite of frost in your soul.
A blanket that keeps you cold,
falls so silently.
A painting of simple beauty one would assume,
a white so pure, so entrancing.
It only hides what the eyes do not want to see,
a temporary memory.

Very nice work here, I love the elements and all.
The poem is cool too, very in depth and to the heart of it all. There's one thing I would love to be more accomplished in writing

That leaves 7 hours of the day left and of that 7 I spend more than 4 reading. Lots of Stephen King ever since I got my first book by him in December on my birthday and I read read. Believe me

I did, and I am so glad you made a comment on the poem.
I wrote it in high school, and after getting insane amounts of snow this year in Colorado, it seemed to hold a truer note in my mind. So I was inspired by my own poem to create imagery for it.
