I started painting in Painter and this is what happened. I'm getting better with the different brushes, and I really like the texture of the clouds. I'm still learning!This pic isn't from anything in particular. It's just nice to look at. It's ALMOST wallpaper sized, so you could use it as that if you wanted.

Very nice. I like the lavender water. The clouds were done well, and Angel Island looked spectacular.
The only quip I have is that the horizon line wasn't straight. It's a little curvy. But still, it's a very good piece of work. It's a definite

Pinks, lues, and every shade in between. I love your use of colours here NR. When I stare at it, it looks like it's gradually getting brighter, like I'm watching the sun rise with Knux. You can see all the geological features of the Floating Island, from the rivers right up to the Ice-cap mountains. Even though it looks pretty otherworldly, the colour and texture makes it look very tangible at the same time. Great job girl!

I love the Knuckles as well, the light shining through his eyes is excellent. I thought this was a landscape from the thumbnail shot so it's nice to see a little personalisation. 
I have P8, thinking I'd really use it when I got it, and I have NO idea how... 
ANYWAY... so I think that alone increases my appreciation for this image tenfold, thinking "dang, she acutally mastered that beast? O.o"
You still working w a mouse, or you have a tablet now, my friend?

Maybe Knuckles could've been done in more detail. That position makes it look like he's just a head floating.

You know, looking at that picture reminds me of one thing that's always puzzled me about some versions of the Floating island, which is how it keeps on producing water despite it often running right of the island. 0_0
Although I've kinda theorized it might have something to do with being so high in the air, it just gets more rain and melted snow up in the mountains.

This is so pretty and relaxing to look at, too. Beautiful job with the lighting on the clouds and ocean. Angel Island almost blends in among the clouds, too, so it's just drifting right along with 'em. Wonderful job. I love this.
