Athena stepped onto the shattered remains of what had been the signal tower. All that was left of the crystal was fragments and shards that glittered on the stone. Parliem sniffed the air and growled, and Athena laid a reassuring hand on his face. Something was very wrong here. The resonance from the violated crystal beat a painful pattern in her head and breast, and Parliem sensed it, as well. Evil had been at work here.

About 10 hours' worth of work in Painter. I have discovered the acrylics brushes, and at last have been able to make Painter do what I want! Acrylics + Oils = awesome. Also I tried my hand at one of those grandoise-perspective pics, because I have trouble making objects in the distance look like they're far away. Argh, I still have a lot to learn. Especially with my humans. >.>

The spinosaurus was fun, though. He makes a pretty good dragon, wouldn't you say?

Edit - Added some iridescent scales to the spinosaur's face, and some texture to the bricks. Also brightened up the crystal. Fullview is recommended.
