amidst the work hours, my laziness and a very tough wip
( which will surely be updated in some time ) i really felt like working on this piece and sought to complete it as quickly as possible just to achieve a sense of fulfillment

i love dark art, especially when they're meant for the greater good, when they have a soul buried deep inside themselves

although i can't explain what this artwork is all about, it's something i saw in my head and wanted to capture it before it disappeared

done in two days using photoshop cs3, the waves ; wisps were created using two types of brushes and then playing hell of a lot with the settings e.g. brush flow, spacing, direction, sometimes i had to reuse the shapes and then alter their flow using the warp tool .. in small areas, i used the smudge tool with 98% smudge strength for thinner, longer strands, but the two brushes i created gave the piece it's form
