Description
This is a Dark Sword Miniature entitled Cersei Lannister painted by Marike Reimer from the USA. Dark Sword have just released a figure painting DVD featuring Marike's superb skills & techniques. And best of all Marike is donating 20% of the sales price of all copies of the DVD sold via her own website to Children with Cancer as part of the 2012 Newbold Challenge!
Cersei was handpainted using small brushes and acrylic paints.

the detailing on this is astonishing! the fact that he can create convincing transparency on a metal 1.5 in figure is truly skill with such fine lace work.

This miniature is justly famous. The subtle precision of the paintwork and the character invested in the pose and expression make it a masterclass on what can be done. Of course, it helps somewhat that the sculpt by the amazing Tom Meier is, itself, one of his finest works.
