Transformers:more old art.
the original cover pencils to issue 23's cover for Energon. the biggest difference is Kicker (the human) He was later changed because the powers that be thought he looked too old. Which i agree. I'm not so sure if i'm happy with how this turned out, i think Arcee's proportions are a tad "chunky"

Well, Arcee does seem a tad buff, but she's a robot to begin with, so...
Anyways: great job. I never read Energon comic, but this pic looks great, especially the character behind Arcee looks cool.

great job on the penciling and composition, nice attention to mechanical detail and complexity! yeah i hate Kicker in the show because it's all about the Transformers! machines not flesh!!! That's probably why i could'nt enjoy the show because of those damn kids!! but this, is good

wow, I've seen the color version of this... SOMEWHERE... and I must say that older kicker looks cooler. 
Oh yeah, I love Skyblast and Strongarm in this pic, and Arcee doesn't look particularly chunky to me, 's all good.

i had wondered what the difference was when you first told me you had to change kicker. i actually do like the final cover better with a younger looking kicker. er... well, he doesn't seem younger to me... it's something else about the way he looks. but eh... oh well. i always love the complexities of your drawings, dude! and this cover was the one i picked up and showed to my buddies at tech school and was all like "when i got to otfcc this year! i'm gonna meet this guy!" and then...i didn't. *ah hem* anywhoo... all that and what josh said. you rock!

Yeah, i think I have a copy of this in my TF posterbook. Very well done. It's really nice to see just the lineart for it though.. I get to see more of the details. The colours in my poster looks kinda muddy..

Man...E-23...the first comic I got to color...man. I was so droolin' over the Tidal Wave I had to color in that issue...you totally owned Energon, I don't care what other peoples say, you were E's best artist >D. Milne's ALRIGHT...I GUESS...(that's me kiddin; Milne is boss as well).
Anywho; this cover rocks...I had to read the description to notice that there was a differece O o O! Dude man. Your pencils fucking own. x_x like...they own my house too *moves out*

O_O I love you... have my bunnies... even if arcee is a little buff, i don't mind X3 the whole piece looks gorgeous... the complexity of each individual character blows my mind~ X3 iz very inspiring pyo seeing ur linework~
I'm just wondering who the other characters are... I can tell who Arcee and Kicker are... Just don't know who the rest are. XD might be easier to know if they were colored XD I've not seen that much of the Energon series before... still,
