This pair needs more love. (And less typical "rape"-ness) And am I the only one who thinks awkward/MANRY Toris with shy/awkward Ivan is the best thing ever!?

Oh I know. It's canon that Russia doesn't handle people very well, but it's also canon that he's lonely and has a soft spot. The fandom doesn't know HOW MUCH of a soft spot he has, but it seems to imply that Russia just doesn't know how to treat people because of the way he was treated as a child, like he has an attachment disorder. The fans who made Russia a big evil rapist apparently never read the strips where Lithuania saw Russia's soft spots :c That was a big thing, for me, like, even if these guys aren't a couple, it shows that they at least have a very special relationship where Russia actually shows weaknesses to Lithuania. (sorry, ranted XD )

no its ok. i totally understand what your saying though personally i don't think he has an attachment disorder because he does care for ppl and seems to be canonly attached to liet even when he was a kid. i think he has borderline. the ppl that make russia heartless don't understand him at all Himaruya stated multiple times that hes not malicious hes just childishly cruel. so this makes me think he might not even know hes really hurting anyone. and in his song light my heart he says he beats up bullys (or something along those lines)so he might even hurt someone he thinks is being "mean" to him (lol now im sorry for ranting)
