Joker handled this nobody killing Batman pretty well. He didn't even torture the guy to death! Just threw him in a vat of toxic waste. Because of that I feel like Joker sorta knew Batman was alive and did the whole funeral thing knowing Batman was watching just to mess with him.

That was a sad episode but also a surprising episode at the end spoiler alert Batman was never dead he'd survived and as for Sid he does go to jail but is still remember as the guy who almost killed the Batman.
But we all know Batman is still alive the Joker would be laugh happy that he can now finale get more chances to get Batman's attention.
