-Chuckles- Okay then~! Please be gentle with me on this one XDIf you have not seen TRANSFORMERS PRIME go and do so. I think it's great.
I know it's nothing special, but lately I've been watching Transformers Prime and sometimes I did sketches as I watched the show. So yeah, here's my crack at drawing Optimus Prime in that version.
I pretty much chose random sketches I did and put them in a collection. Some didn't make it on here because they didn't meet up to par in my opinion.
Nothing spectacular, but he was a lot of fun to try and draw.
Fun part was it got me to drawing expressions nicely.
No idea why I have a fascination of characters looking at butterflies no matter what fandom. -shrug-
I'll try and draw other characters sometime soon and anything else I can come up with.

Ahaha, I'm so jealous of yer skills, Prime looks amazing, like right from the show!
I think it's something about giant scary robotic beings from space liking something tiny n delicate like butterflies makes it sweet

That's what I thought too when it came to the concept of having him look at something like butterflies. Then again, I laugh when he tries to understand Earth customs at times.

I saw some eps, but I couldn't get hooked on it unfortunately. I'll have to try again sometime since I hear the humor is good. XD

It's pretty good; I mean, it took me a while to get used to the designs but I like how the characters kind of grew over time
Although I'm not a big fan of the last season, or the ending <<;; But then that's just me

Well, I saw the snipet you mentioned and just about lost it as soon as I saw his reaction. xD I love humor like that.
I'll have to try watching again. I guess I'm just more used to Peter Cullen voicing and originals mostly. Ah well, I can be open.

Oh no dont get wrong I LOVE Peter Cullen voicing, but in Animated I couldnèt really see it work; Cullenès voicing makes Prime sounds aged and wise and stuff; animated Prime is very different from G1 Prime so his voice canèt be all wise n stuff.
But it can be for Transforermmers Prime which is one of many reasons I love it so it just fits perfectly

True, I couldn't see Peter Cullen voicing the TFA version, but plus side the voice used for him in that series does work since in a sense it's like a younger version when you think about it. I guess TFA was a way for newer fans to view the series/fandom. I think that's a good thing. ^^

I know it/s what got me into the fandom; after seeing Transformers the movie I started dabbling in the G1 series but it didn/t really stick until I watched Animated once on TV; it wasn/t like love at first sight but eventually I started to love it and then it just pulled me into the other serioes too xD

I hope he gets expressive in the series a lot more. Most of his normally are pretty much normal, but having him with mood swings in my sketches is so much fun.
