Thinking about making art like music, and thinking about simplicity. I make these for myself when I need to stop- they are kind of prayerful, to me.

I'm glad you think so! It's hard to resist rendering too much...but I wanted the final to be simple and to feel serene

I like these. It's like making a finished piece out of the initial idea, without all the clutter and polish that comes with a finished piece. Not that that's a bad thing, but this just feels very...direct I guess
