As Stormy enters her teens, she feels the absence of her brother (older brother Prism) since he’s moved in with Zephyr, and the growing pressure from her mother to fill his role of family champion. Dash always had high expectations for the kids, seeing as who they came from, and Stormy never felt too much of that heat until Prisms successes couldn’t hide her losses. One thing lead to another; talking smack with other racers and peers lead to small tussles, which lead to small fights and eventually full blown injuries where no one walks away a winner. Stormy picks fights in an effort to try and prove something, but even in those she loses. Prism notices how distant she becomes and how fixated she is on training, and asks her what’s up but she won’t budge. Dash keeps pushing Stormy harder, and doesn’t really know about her behaviors until Stormy comes home battered from picking on the wrong peer.
Luckily for her here, Eris is very gentle. She’s the reigning champion of wrestling in her home, Hazel (younger brother) taking a close second. Fluttershy is absolutely sick of it... it was cute when they were young, but now that they’re approaching full grown noodle length, she kicks them out of the house to fight. Sadly for them, it means they do it less; the siblings still love play fighting, and Eris takes Stormy’s pushing to actually fight as a playful joke. Stormy was working her ass off to leave a mark on Eris, but she didn’t have much of any success. Eris could easily bring harm to Stormy, but took it easy on her out of good sportsmanship.

Stormy, clearly, will lose this fight. Eris, in true weird kid and animal lover fashion, delivers the final blow, “killing” Stormy. This, only frightened the pegasus since she thought Eris was actually fighting. Stormy is shocked when Eris lays down half on top of her, guarding her prize... then the truth comes out that Eris thought they were play fighting the whole time.
