my entry for Fantasy Earth Zero contest being held by deviantArtmy take on a human mystic/mage whatever you want to call it
im working on one more to see if i get luckier, and ill try and enter with that one before the deadline
give me your support ill need it
i desperately need an intuos
this is basically what my whole artistic process resumes itself
i have an opportunity to show myself as a character artist ill try and not blow this opportunity
so this is it, i must place at least the last 25 like i did on the last days contest
after that i really want at least 3rd place let's be realistic here

This is a wonderful piece! The details are exquisite, and I like how seamlessly she melds into the background. But I also thought she was a boy at first, even after you updated it. ^_^;

I agree with the critique, with the weapon being cut off at the side of the picture it's a little distracting, but otherwise it's a really effective piece !!

cutting the weapon and adding a fading background where everything merges is my way of adding that mystery

it's been ages since i last heard from you
im editing her as we speak and working on another entry which like you said i placed a lot of effort onto it
i can't go crazy with textures since i want to keep the main style they want (and for some reason i don't fancy using textures that much myself)
my main vision with the background was having her stepping out of the alley and she was lighten by the sun as she came out
lighting up the background would be pretty much like a repaint
i only like using hues and sats when i find it appropriate
i am fixing her face however since many many people replied to that
by all means
its critique like yours that make me want to improve even further and its critiques such as yours that help me improve as well

oh another contest. I hope I didn't get to this to late to fave it. very nice colouring once again plus a nifty outfit. I like her surroundings too It gives the viewer abit of an insight to where the locals live. nice work buddy and good luck with the contest

This is an amazing picture. The best thing is her costume, seriously, it's so pretty to look at. But if you are looking for constructive criticism, it just seems like her face is missing something..idk it just seems too plain in a way. But great picture nonetheless! I hope you get voted into the finals!

Yes I think that's it...with the short hair and face, she could pass for a guy (except for the boobs haha) I sure wish I had your coloring abilities though! I'm glad we can submit as many entries as we want to these contests

I am not a fan of her dress code and her face.
Technically it's still very nice (You're ever a g... great artist) but I think this time you have worked less the scenery... I feel there are some problems with perspectives and tickness. (I am not sure of vocabulary, I hope you understand me)
But your work is impressive ! As Usually

i like it but i also had to keep in mind the contest rules and guidelines and i tried t keep within the mmo genre and style of artwork
yeah i know about those perspective issues, let's hope the judges miss it out and that i reach top 25 and then the top 3
